the fall ("an old punk band" i like it) who were also on 0161 have 1 or
2 releases out in their own right also @ (reviews, lance? :-))

their label is "cog sinister", so i guess we'll have to look elsewhere
for the "public" culprits. otherwise, i think you might want to say that
some of the practitioners of the gescom/skam/vvm/manchester sound are
quite enamored w/ the fall sound.
