Our very own Rodney Perkins did a gig a few weeks back at the XPO lounge
in Dallas where they set up a projector and showed Mr. Lang's
Metropolis... Rodney brought in his 1200s and rescored the film
live-on-the-fly with the likes of Oval, Eno, Boards of Canada, Ed Rush &
Optical (for climaxy parts) to what was soon a pretty packed house....
He did a perfect job of mood-matching the music to the movie, and the
applause afterwards confirmed the crowd thought so too. Go R.P.!!!
