rook vallard : guy from edinburgh who lives in california, has
recorded for plug research _the white vinyl 10"_, switch, and had
cuts on xlr8r's 'tracks kick drum' ep and worm interface's 2nd CD
compilation - 'disco moonlight' - wire review sez about it ""it's
the unknowns who really shine here..especially Rook Vallard's
incredible 'stochast' with it's glinting cymbal-grids swarming
across the sound picture"
electroscope : space rock / syd barret headz from glasgow,
record for wurlitzer jukebox, also members of adventures in stereo
vvm : sonic dada terrorists from manchester, andy [1/2 of vvm]

that question has posed on numerous occasions, and
to tell you the truth, we are not quite sure ourselves..
several theories have been rationalized, dissected and
then discarded..
mark says "diskono is a post imaginative, as opposed
to latent capitalist, vehicle for reproducing art, you
note i use the word "art", framed within the ubiquitous
confines of 'electronic music'"
steven says "diskono is not subordinate to the
sovereignty of the inter-allied economic commission"

under the DIAL moniker..for DISKONO, dan (an ex-20th century
composition student) releases a personal collection (on 12") of
diverse yet thematic abstractions, fucked up breakbeats and
scuzzed hip hop juxtaposed with musique-concrete & classical
under / overtones
