as was the case last year, C. aka mister hilker will be running a best of
year poll, details will appear here when he's ready. also he mentions
running an all time best of IDM poll in early 1998.

ps. I'm looking into various list-oddities including why people who are
subbed to the digest are getting individual "idm" mail from one
particular person(?) and the odd assortment of feebleness.
