hey Mr. Graves thanks for the werd up. I wanted to mention another SO CAL artist who you will all be hearing about a lot more. Well from me you will be. Anyhow, the project is called L'usine. He has an upcomming release on ISOPHLUX i've been told. He's performed on a few ocassions at KUCI, CAL-ARTS, and some other small coffee shop type gigs. His music is definitely IDM for the comming milenium. While it does have the digital edge like many of the up n comming IDM artists who sound like Ae wanna-be's (which is fine IMO) Jeff's music has added little bonuses that make it his own sound. IF YOU LOVE MELODY, this is your guy. I haven't a clue what the title of the release will be and I've been told mid-MAY. However, knowing Isophlux, this means Mid-March 2000. If it were comming out mid-May, I'd hope to be hearing some talk about it now. L'usine is definitely an artist to keep an eye out for. one more from the SO CAL camp:) gilly c g wrote: > > Sure, the lexaunculpt 12" that came out recently isn't revolutionary > > but let's give Orange a big Hurah for the idea of the floppy, that was a > > the lex 12" is just pretty cool from what i heard. that's fine, i'll buy it > soon. sounded very schematicish. doesn't need to be revolutionary.. > > > more music, we may get more conversations, more friendships, etc outta > > all this and that's what this fucking internet shit is for, no?
