well well
i had had a dandy time at kim's on st. marks last night.at approx.
8 o'clock cex stepped to the laptop and played a short and melodious #
or 2,followd by
kid 606,who dispensed with th' damaged beats
"know whadda im sayin"
i know it was gettin good to him 'cause his cheeks got rosy red!!
there were some eye closing ,head- noddin moments fer sure.
then the highlight(as far as im concerned) was lex... nicely
crafted beats/layering/manipulation/fidelity/you name it
the bose sound system was hummin'! it was definitelf a nice
vibe, although i wish more folks had of been there.but,what can you
do.everyone was cool and approachable after the set,although i just
said "good set" and split. ryan(cex) had the
entreprenurial(spelling..huhhhhh,yeah i know) spirit and was selling
cds and 7 ins out of a cooler(!) out front of the store. takin it to
the streets.
try to catch them if you havent already...
