The Primitive Painter?!? Really? I remember picking up their album back in
'91
or '92, just as I was getting into this music. I was at a record store in
Boston, listening to the PP album, and choosing between that and a strange
comp titled Art Rhythmic Technology that featured some folks I'd never heard
of (yet) like Balil and Atypic. Being young and foolish and perhaps slightly
deaf, I went with the PP album, and it took me oh around 5 years to finally
get the ART comp. A happy ending overall.
