Speaking of Sesame Street, wasn't there a post a while back in which
someone's vinyl collection was broken down by category, including 30 records
in the Sesame Street category? (Possibly Hvratski, but I could be wrong).
That's a serious collection. Dare I suggest the idea of sampling/remixing
some of this material? I feel like this is something I've heard Kid Koala do.
Maybe Ibiza would go for an anthemic dance floor remix of "C is for Cookie."
Maybe "E is for Ecstasy," with Cookie all loved up, guzzling bottled water,
hugging all the other muppets, eyes big as saucers - oh wait, they're already
big as saucers. Makes you wonder what those muppets get into backstage.
