On the Photek thread: Personally I enjoy Modus Op. a lot more than
Risc vs R (being the only other Photek I have) and must agree with
everybody else who voiced disappointment and anger at the repetitions
from one release to another and lack of new material per release.
As regards reviews : this *should* be an open forum for people to
write exactly what they think and feel about a particular release. If
they like it, let them praise it; likewise - if they hate it (for
whatever reasons) let them describe why they found it lacking without
fear of personal attacks and flames. Everybody's point of view is
valid - and we certainly don't all feel the same way about everything.
I know you'll all yawn to hear about this - but FINALLY I've heard the
much-talked-about Skampler (THANK YOU! you know who you are :-) ) and
now understand why everybody's been jumping up and down about it :::
after two listens-through, I am totally impressed and want more, more,
more of the same. Excellent.

Good God !! <gasp> somebody quoting Street Spirit on IDM - made me go
scrabble around my unplayed CD's and listen to this great track again
