The one I have on Din is very melancholic, somewhat in the vein of Autechre but
not enough to cry "rip-off" (hello, Funkstorung...erm...Boards of
Canada...erm....nevermind). I like it.

The first Mr. Hazeltine was in my top ten for the year it came out (1997). It's
loopy banging techno, sort of comparable to Jeff Mills' Purpose Maker stuff. I
think it's very good, but you might dig it more if you DJ as well as listen from
the armchair (no dis to either camp).
