I won this cd in a contest about a month ago.. the name of the group is CHI and they are from Amsterdam. They use electronic synthesis (samplers, fx processing), live hand percussion, guitar riffs, flutes and reed instruments, chimes,.. things,.. and alot of reverb. Their music has an oriental flavor to it and is relatively dark/ambient. It's pretty nice.. recorded in the mid 80's. I don't know if anyone has any idea who they are.. I won a contest on this site called http://music.takeaway.net and they let me choose any cd from their collection of "lesser known" artists. After listening to a bunch of their ra. files in their jukebox section I chose this one.
