I saw this mentioned on the list before but i
just listened to this new tribute comp when
i was in bent crayon today called:
. A Homage to Neu! cd (Cleopatra)
Basically it's a tribute to the tremendously
influential Krautrock outfit Neu! A handful
of big electronic names give their interpretation
of their favorite Neu! tracks. Artist on this comp
include Autechre, Khan, James Plotkin, Legendary
Pink Dots, System 7, and Download to name
a few...
Despite the Krautrock title, the flavor of this
release is very electronic and well worth
checking out.
btw: also picked up the two latest Markant 12"
#7 & 8. both are great Musik Aus Stromish
and Skam-like eps limited to 200 copies each.
