apparently Chocolate Industries is run by 7, who used to work for
Schematic. it also appears that he got a copy of a DAT that was coming
out Schematic shortly and he has released a song that is not his to
release on one of these Chocolate Industires records, whichever is called
"the unauthorized EP". the track is Gescom's remix of Push Button
Objects for the Ischemic Strokes Part 1 12" coming out in July (with
Phoenecia & Cylob mixes of Metic & Richard Devine). it has been a long
time since I've heard of such negative practices. give them the full
anti-support, don't buy the stolen goods!

p.s. that reference above to richard devine should be a head's-up: his
just-released schematic 12-inch is a must for fans of hard-hitting
experimental electro. i noticed an autechre sample or two amongst the
noise and rhythmic chaos, but the record really stands on its melodic and
harmonic achievements. an extremely beautiful, touching record. one of the
best, most sophisticated experimental dance releases to originate on
american shores, definitely.
