what? see 'diedre v. dice', i can't belive they faded that shit out, that
was the best roots beat since 'Concerto Of The Desperados', and it's only
like 30 seconds long.. hopefully that full length roots/diedre murray
session that ?uest mentions in the linear notes will see a release

btw, 'Soy' EP out this summer, featuring the hidden tracks they wanted to
put on each of the different covers but the label wouldn't let them.
www.okayplayer.com for more info (no, really, it's one of the only good
official artist websites out there. updated almost everyday).

Re: Kool Keith (i know i'm late on this.. whatever)

Apparently out now on Funky Ass is the Dr. Dooom LP (tho I can't find it).
Dr. Dooom is Octogon's arch enemy and he opens off the album killing off
Dr. Octogon (probably because there's some tensions between Keith and the
Automator). Production by Kutmasta Kurt. And it's got really funny No
Limit imitation photoshop artwork of Keith with a big hamburger.

July 13th is 'The Original Black Elvis' LP on Ruffhouse. Production by
Keith himself (errr....?)

plus Ultramagnetic reunion LP later this year (although it'll probably get
pushed back)

him and Sir Menelik are no longer pals since apparently Menelik jacked a
beat for the Scarmanga album..

and while i'm on the hip hop tip. Freestyle Fellowship's "To Whom it may
concern..." has finally been re-pressed on CD, so there is no reason no one
should have it. It's one of the most overlooked hip hop albums ever.
